Two months in Zürich and a couple of surprises later...who would have thought hat I'd end up in a shopping window as a substitute for my living room? Don't panic, this is not Amsterdam and I still appreciate a nucleus of privacy. Nonetheless, the german part of switzerland does share a characteristic with Netherlands: people care more about what happens inside their homes than outside them. So tiptoe and you will catch a glimpse of their interiors and their lives. Walk around my neighborhood and see what people expose at their windows. Stand in front of my window (formerly a bakery I guess), and you will see me methodically ironing my shirt for the following day. Wave your hand and I'll be very embarassed. I will soon improve my living conditions by means of shutters, curtains or whatever mechanism that will convey the feeling of living inside rather than outside on the sidewalk. You can still knock on my window at Goldbrunnenstrasse 128, 8055 Zürich. Welcome!
> Roland, thanks so much for your painting skills
